Summary: This visual poem was created by Kac in 2012 but never circulated. In 2017, Fréderic Acquaviva published a laser-etched x-ray film edition of the poem to commemorate Eduardo Kac’s mid-career survey at the art center La Plaque Tournante, Berlin. This is the only edition of the poem. The poem depicts heartbeats in the shape of words, connecting the internal rhythms of the body (the pulsing heart of the poet) with the external dynamism of the world.
