GFP Bunny: Tales of a Rabbit Gone Viral is a supercut: a video composed of brief excerpts assembled around a shared subject. Drawing on the responses to GFP Bunny in contemporary media culture, the work condenses a wide range of footage into a fast-moving sequence that reveals how GFP Bunny images circulate, mutate, and acquire new meanings across different contexts. Going from Korea to Brazil, from the Nobel Prize to The Hulk, the video follows the work’s global circulation and the varied cultural forms through which it was reimagined.
